2024 Freshmen Military Training

To cultivate students' sense of discipline, strengthen their willpower, stimulate their patriotic enthusiasm, and enhance their national consciousness, the 2024 freshman military training and entrance education of Yinchuan Xiaokongming School kicked off on August 19, 2024. The school employs various forms such as military training and special lectures to guide students to quickly understand and adapt to high school life.

I. Opening Ceremony of Military Training

At 8:00 AM on August 19, 2024, the opening ceremony of the 2024 freshman military training for Yinchuan Xiaokongming School was solemnly held in the lecture hall. The leaders attending the ceremony included Li Xueqian from the Xingqing District Armed Forces Department, Tian Jizhong, the Party Secretary of Yinchuan Xiaokongming School, Vice Presidents Han Hong, Chen Hongwei, Chen Ahua, and Li Lin, Director Zhao Zhong of the Education Supervision Office, and Director Yang Xiaohong of the Moral Education Office. The ceremony was hosted by Vice President Li Lin.

Han Hong, the Vice President of Yinchuan Xiaokongming School, delivered a speech at the ceremony. He emphasized the significance of military training in cultivating students' perseverance, team spirit, and good discipline. He encouraged students to challenge and surpass themselves during the training, hoping that they would gain strong bodies and indomitable spirits through this experience.

Following the speech, a flag-presentation ceremony for the military training regiment was held. Tian Jizhong, the Party Secretary of Xiaokongming School,

presented the flag to the military training instructors. With pride and dignity, Instructor Li received the flag bestowed upon him by the school leadership.

II. Daily Training

With the scorching sun hanging high in the blue sky, it is the time for striving. During the military training, the instructors' commands on the training ground were resounding and powerful, and the students quickly lined up neatly on the playground. They stood tall and straight with firm gazes, demonstrating the vigorous vitality of the teenagers in the new era.

On the training ground, under the guidance of instructors, the students conscientiously learned basic military actions such as standing military posture, marching with measured steps, and jogging. Although their clothes were soaked with sweat, they still gritted their teeth and persevered, striving to perform every movement with standard norms. The instructors were strict with requirements and patiently guided, constantly giving the students encouragement and corrections.

III. 

Culture and Education

On the afternoon of August 23, Yinchuan Xiaokongming School specially invited Cai Guo, a member of the Ningxia Veterans Propaganda Group and the Wuzhong City Party History Study and Education Propaganda Group, who participated in the Laoshan Self-Defense Counterattack against Vietnam and received a first-class merit, to come to the school to conduct a propaganda activity with the theme of "Blood-stained Dignity, Immortal Monument" for the freshmen who were undergoing military training in their first year of high school.

Through organizing veteran propaganda activities in schools, the students undergoing military training were educated and guided to cherish the hard-earned peaceful environment and beautiful life, and to devote themselves with greater enthusiasm to the current military training activities, so as to live up to their youth and pass on the revolutionary torch from generation to generation.

On August 24th, Instructor Li Xueqian conducted a significant event to introduce first aid knowledge into the campus to enhance students' safety awareness and self-rescue and mutual-rescue abilities. At the event, he elaborated on cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) for teachers and students. Through lively demonstrations and detailed explanations, everyone deeply recognized the importance of this first aid skill.

On the evening of August 25th, in the auditorium of the comprehensive building of Yinchuan Xiaokongming School, a campus etiquette training lecture for this year's freshmen participating in military training was held, featuring Liu Ya, the Executive Director of the Ningxia Xiaokongming Mental Health Research Institute, as the keynote speaker.
  In an interactive atmosphere, Director Liu not only meticulously explained to the students what etiquette is and its importance in interpersonal communication, social life, and career development, but also enhanced their memory and practical abilities through a series of simulated scenarios such as greeting scenes, dining in the cafeteria, invitation scenes, and reception scenes. This, in turn, improved their etiquette and enabled them to face future studies and life with more confidence.

Third Item: Military Training Report Performance
March-past:
  The march-past is an important and solemn activity during military training, simulating the scene of a military parade. It aims to inspect the queue movements, discipline, and teamwork spirit of the participating students. The march-past is a significant way to showcase the achievements of military training, presenting the students' learning outcomes and spiritual demeanor during the training through orderly movements and loud slogans.

Military Boxing

Learning military boxing not only allows students to appreciate the profoundness and extensiveness of Chinese martial arts but also deepens their understanding of military discipline and collective spirit. The perfect presentation of each movement requires repeated practice and constant correction, which also reflects a life lesson: only through persistent effort can one achieve the best in all aspects.

The camouflage is eye-catching, and youth is passionate. Military training is the starting point of the new journey in high school and an important training ground for high school life.
